What we collect
If you sign up for early access, we collect your email address. That's it. We do not collect any other personal information through this website.
How we use it
Your email address is used solely to notify you when Elephant Ears launches and to send occasional product updates. We will never sell or share your email address with third parties.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies or any tracking technologies.
Beta Program
Applications
If you apply for the Elephant Ears beta program, we collect the information you provide in the enrollment form (name, email, city, country, equipment details, and consent choices) so we can review your application and communicate with you about beta access.
Personal sound profiles (with consent)
By default, personal sound profiles you create in Elephant Ears stay on your device. If you explicitly consent as a beta participant, profiles you choose to share are stored only on secure Elephant Audio servers, associated with your login so we can discuss them with you, and are never sold or shared outside the Elephant Audio development team.
Feedback
With your explicit authorization, we may use feedback you provide with limited attribution (first name and last initial, city and country). We do not use other identifying details without separate consent.
Elephant Ears Application
Audio processing
Elephant Ears runs entirely on your computer. All audio is processed in real time, solely on your machine — no audio of any kind is ever captured, recorded, transmitted, or stored, and no audio ever leaves your machine. By default, Elephant Ears processes all system audio. You can also configure it to process audio only from specific programs, as long as those programs let you set their audio output device — for example, Tidal or Logic Pro X, where you explicitly choose the output device.
Network requests
Elephant Ears contacts our cloud compute service for two reasons:
- Headphone correction profiles — to generate a correction profile for your selected headphones, only the headphone model name is sent.
- Custom hearing profiles — generating a hearing profile tuned to you requires information from your hearing analysis. That information is used only to create your profile and is never stored on our servers; your hearing profile is saved only on your local machine.
No audio, personal information, or usage analytics are transmitted. Generated profiles are returned to the application and stored locally on your machine.
Data stored locally
Elephant Ears stores your preferences and your saved headphone, hearing, and equalization profiles on your machine. This data never leaves your device. You can remove it at any time.
What we do not do
- We do not record, transmit, or store any audio
- We do not collect analytics or usage data

Your rights
You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link in any email we send. You can uninstall the Elephant Ears application at any time, which deletes all locally stored data. You can also contact us to request deletion of your data.
